| Why did I choose to make a clay whistle designed like a train? I chose it because it was not a common idea for a whistle. I also thought it was cool because a real train has a whistle and I thought it would be cool since trains have whistles to make a clay whistle look like a train.I had a problem trying it to get it to whistle, so I just kept trying to get it to whistle and eventually I got it. Another problem I had was my first whistle blew up in the kilm, so my solution was to make a brand new one. I also had a problem when I was glazing and that was I had a problem figuring out where I had already glazed it.I am happy with my whistle! It turned out pretty much how I wanted it to. I might have been able to add more to it but I am happy with it. It looks great and it was a long and fun thing to work on. |
